CREATING THE DESIGN

Having spoken to Kelly as part of our initial consultation, I knew she wanted the furniture to be a deep green-turquoise colour with a bright yellow or orange wallpaper. Armed with her vision, I created a mood board incorporating the various design elements we had discussed and a variety of wallpaper options.

The wallpaper that did catch Kelly’s eye was the exotic Muck n Brass Chimiracle Mustard paper, and as this has a fabric option as well, we were able to upholster the stool with the same design!

THE TRANSFORMATION

This dressing table has a beautiful wood grain on the top that once restored, and combined with the eye-catching wallpaper and vibrant paint colour, created an absolute head-turner of a dressing table!
