This coffee table has been a sympathetically restored to a beautiful condition, although the glass does have some scratches which is to be expected with age. This is an incredibly stylish and timeless piece of furniture which will sit well within and enhance any decor.

Description

Here we have a vintage G-Plan Astro coffee table in the iconic circular design with curved legs. Designed by V B Wilkins around 1969, this has become an iconic part of the mid century furniture design and is now more popular than ever.

This is made from a solid teak wood frame using traditional solid joint construction with a centre glass insert. Bears the G-Plan Red label dating these to between 1965 – 1975. The build quality is superb.

This coffee table has been a sympathetically restored to a beautiful condition, although the glass does have some scratches which is to be expected with age. This is an incredibly stylish and timeless piece of furniture which will sit well within and enhance any decor.

As this item is hand-painted and hand-finished, it may also show faint brush marks, imperfections and texture, which I hope you agree adds to the uniqueness and character of the piece.
