Vintage Etched Brass Cognac Goblet – EPNS Altar Cup, Indian Ritual Wine Chalice

Believed to be from India and marked “F&D PURE, EPNS”, this chalice was originally silver-plated over a brass base, a common practice for items designed to emulate the look of sterling silver at a more accessible price. While originally silver-plated, the plating has gracefully worn over time, revealing the warm, golden patina of the underlying brass, adding to its authentic vintage charm.

Condition: Presented in good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and use. The base is slightly bent so there is a little bit of a wobble to the goblet. There are light surface scratches and the original silver plating has worn in areas, exposing the beautiful golden brass beneath.
