Escape to a tropical paradise without leaving your home! This stunning vintage chest of drawers has been completely transformed from a dated family heirloom into a vibrant, one-of-a-kind statement piece that radiates fun and personality.
Lovingly and meticulously refurbished, this solid chest of drawers has been given a bold new life. The body is hand-painted in a rich, eye-catching turquoise blue that evokes the feeling of clear tropical waters. This stunning colour provides the perfect frame for the drawer fronts, which are the true star of the show.
Each of the four drawers has been decoupaged with a luxurious and fun pink tropical wallpaper, bursting with exotic flowers, lush foliage, butterflies, and colourful parrots. To complete the playful, cohesive theme, I’ve added charming gold-tone parrot handles that are both quirky and elegant.
The attention to detail continues inside. The clean, wooden drawers have been fitted with removable card inserts, lined with the very same tropical wallpaper. This not only protects the drawer bottoms but also provides a delightful pop of colour every time you reach for your belongings.

All my work is refinished with care and attention to detail using good-quality materials and furniture paints. I source quality pieces of furniture and bring them back to life in unique and creative ways.
As with all pre-loved furniture, they may show evidence of their past life with the occasional dent or imperfection. Major imperfections are always addressed and repaired to a high standard, but I believe small marks tell the story of the piece’s history and add to its charm. As this item is hand-painted and hand-finished, it may also show faint brush marks, imperfections and texture, which I hope you agree adds to the uniqueness and character of the piece. Please also note that due to lighting, colours may vary slightly from those in the photos. Please kindly keep this in mind during your purchase.
