About the Piece:
This lovely vintage chest of drawers has been lovingly restored and refurbished, ready for its new forever home.
The body and the drawer fronts have been hand-painted using Fusion Mineral Paint in the shade Lichen. Fusion describes this shade as “Drawn from nature, Lichen’s grey-green tones are soft, subtle, and soothing.” Stencils have been used to create a faux bone inlay look, using Sennelier Iridescent Pearl paint to give it a mother-of-pearl effect.
The drawer bottoms have been lined with beautiful complimentary wallpaper, featuring toucans and flowers. These have been lined and sealed using Bunty’s Paints Decoupage Glue & Finish.
The chest of drawers has been finished with two coats of Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish for added durability and protection.
The original handles have been cleaned and match the drawers beautifully.
The iridescent pearl stencil compliments’ the subtle green shade perfectly, and the faux bone inlay design is guaranteed to make a statement in any room!
