Step back into an era of unparalleled glamour and sophistication with this breathtaking Art Deco cocktail cabinet. A true showpiece, its beautifully restored walnut exterior holds a stunning secret: a vibrant, contemporary interior that makes it a one-of-a-kind treasure for any home.
The Exterior: The cabinet’s exterior has been painstakingly and completely restored to celebrate its natural beauty. The rich, book-matched walnut grain, a hallmark of high-quality Art Deco furniture, has been brought back to life and sealed with a durable satin hard wax oil. This provides a subtle, elegant sheen that is smooth to the touch and protects the wood for years to come. Delicate gold edge detailing has been added to accentuate the cabinet’s iconic curved lines, adding a touch of modern luxury. To complete the look, ornate brass and teal enamel knobs have been fitted, providing a perfect hint of colour and intricate detail.
The Interior: This is where the party truly begins. Open the drop-down top section to reveal a dazzling scene. The interior has been professionally decoupaged with a luxurious yellow oriental wallpaper, featuring elegant birds and delicate willow trees. The original mirrored preparation area remains, creating a glamorous space for mixing drinks. The lighting has been fully re-wired for safety and upgraded with an energy-efficient LED bulb.
The lower two-door cupboard continues the surprise. While the back is lined with the same beautiful wallpaper, the inside of the doors features hand-stencilled swallows in gleaming gold wax, appearing to fly across the wood grain. For the ultimate modern convenience, a motion-sensor LED light has been installed, automatically illuminating your collection as you open the doors.
Even the smallest details are considered, with a removable card liner in the central drawer, covered in the matching oriental wallpaper.

All my work is refinished with care and attention to detail using good-quality materials and furniture paints. I source quality pieces of furniture and bring them back to life in unique and creative ways.
As with all pre-loved furniture, they may show evidence of their past life with the occasional dent or imperfection. Major imperfections are always addressed and repaired to a high standard, but I believe small marks tell the story of the piece’s history and add to its charm. As this item is hand-painted and hand-finished, it may also show faint brush marks, imperfections and texture, which I hope you agree adds to the uniqueness and character of the piece. Please also note that due to lighting, colours may vary slightly from those in the photos. Please kindly keep this in mind during your purchase.
