A piece that exudes classic elegance on the outside while hosting a vibrant, tropical party on the inside. This stunning vintage drinks cabinet has been professionally restored and imaginatively redesigned to be a show-stopping centrepiece for your home, blending timeless style with a touch of the exotic.
The Exterior: The cabinet’s exterior has been completely restored to honour the gorgeous, deep-toned wood grain. After careful preparation, the wood has been sealed with a high-quality satin hard wax oil, providing a durable, smooth finish with a subtle lustre. The elegant legs have been painted in a glamorous gold, which is echoed in the delicate gold trim that frames the cabinet’s clean lines. The original, ornate fan-shaped hardware has been cleaned and polished, standing proudly against the dark wood.
The Interior: This is where the cabinet reveals its true, vibrant personality.
Top Bar Section: Open the drop-down door to discover a moody, tropical paradise. The back and sides are decoupaged in a luxurious navy blue wallpaper featuring lush foliage, playful monkeys, and elegant flamingos. The original mirrored preparation area allows you to mix drinks in style, illuminated by a fully re-wired and upgraded, energy-efficient LED light. As a mark of true craftsmanship, custom-made walnut cocktail pick holders have been fitted, ready for your garnishes.
Lower Cupboard: The exotic theme continues in the lower cupboard, with the tropical wallpaper lining the back. The inside of the doors, however, provides another stunning surprise – a beautiful Art Deco-inspired ginkgo leaf pattern has been hand-stencilled in shimmering gold wax. A restored magazine or bottle holder sits on the left-hand door. For a touch of modern magic, a motion-sensor LED light has been installed, automatically lighting up your collection as you open the doors.

All my work is refinished with care and attention to detail using good-quality materials and furniture paints. I source quality pieces of furniture and bring them back to life in unique and creative ways.
As with all pre-loved furniture, they may show evidence of their past life with the occasional dent or imperfection. Major imperfections are always addressed and repaired to a high standard, but I believe small marks tell the story of the piece’s history and add to its charm. As this item is hand-painted and hand-finished, it may also show faint brush marks, imperfections and texture, which I hope you agree adds to the uniqueness and character of the piece. Please also note that due to lighting, colours may vary slightly from those in the photos. Please kindly keep this in mind during your purchase.
