Aynsley 1969 Prince of Wales Investiture Plate King Charles III Commemorative

A beautiful piece of royal history, this Aynsley fine bone china plate commemorates the investiture of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, now King Charles III, in 1969. This special plate was designed and produced to celebrate the investiture held at Caernarvon on 1st July 1969. The reverse of the plate lists previous Princes of Wales. It features a striking central coat of arms in gold and black, complemented by elegant floral motifs overlaid in intricate gold scrolling around a light green rim with a gold edge trim. The back of the plate also displays regalia. A wonderful collectable celebrating a significant royal event.
