About the Project
Lindsay reached out to us as she had wanted to commission a dressing table, stool and two bedside cabinets for her bedroom.

WHERE IT BEGAN
Sourcing
This was the dressing table that Lindsay chose from our stock in the workshop, and we sourced further two bedside cabinets in the same style as the dressing table.
THE PROCESS
Creating the Design
Working together with Lindsay, we selected a deep navy blue paint colour – Hornblower by Frenchic and a beautiful bold yellow tropical print wallpaper.
Partway through the process, Lindsay and I discussed adding some gold gilding wax to the raised embellishments to add some further interest, without looking too “blingy”.
The Blue Bedroom Set
As part of my commission service, I kept in constant communication with Lindsay and sent her pictures of the progress so she could be part of the process and make any changes, like adding the gold gilding wax.
Everything was packaged up securely before being couriered to its new home!
