This is a beautiful vintage commemorative plate from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, entitled “Flora Exotica.” Produced by Spode in 1987, this plate commemorates the Princess of Wales Conservatory. The central design features a vibrant arrangement of exotic flowers, surrounded by a rich green border with a decorative gold rim and detailing. A small vignette at the bottom depicts a scene within the conservatory. This plate is a lovely piece of botanical art and a collectable item for those interested in Kew Gardens or Spode pottery. Marked on the base.
