Vintage Inside Painted Glass Snuff Bottle Chinese Landscape Emil 2005

This is a fascinating vintage inside-painted glass snuff bottle. The bottle is of rounded rectangular form with a cylindrical neck, flat lip, and splayed oval foot ring. Both sides are meticulously painted with detailed everyday life scenes within the bottle itself, a highly skilled technique. One side depicts what appears to be a child sitting in the bare branches of a tree, with a parent standing on the ground watching them. This scene is signed “Emil 23-4-2005”. The other side portrays an old man and a young man in a landscape setting. Both scenes incorporate landscape elements, adding to the overall artistic composition. There appears to be a crack on the bottom of one side of the bottle.
