Description

This is a lovely vintage oil or vinegar jug/pourer from Fosters Cornish Pottery. It features a rich chestnut brown base glaze with a distinctive white drip glaze applied to the neck, both exterior and interior. This “lava” style glaze is reminiscent of West German pottery from the 1960s and 1970s. This jug is a great find for collectors of Cornish pottery, 1970s ceramics, or anyone looking for a unique and stylish kitchen accessory. While designed for oil or vinegar, it could also be used for other liquids or even as a small vase for flowers. Please note that this jug is being sold without a stopper. The original Fosters Pottery sticker is still present on the body.
