Vintage Arcopal Volcan Casserole Dish, Mid Century French Amber Glass Tureen

A truly superb piece of retro French cookware, this lidded casserole dish from Arcopal’s distinctive “Volcan” (Volcano) range is a standout item for any vintage kitchen. Made from heavy and toughened opaline glass, it’s designed to go straight from the oven to the table. Its striking marbled orange, mustard, and caramel colours with a unique textured finish make it a functional and beautiful statement piece.

Condition: Good vintage condition. The colours remain vibrant and striking. There is a small chip on the inside of the bowl and some minor nibbles consistent with its age and use. The lid has some dark staining (please see photos for detail). These features do not detract from the overall beauty and functionality of the piece.
