Description

This is a vintage oil or vinegar bottle from Hornsea Pottery’s popular “Heirloom” range, in the warm “Autumn Brown” colourway. This particular piece is being sold without its stopper, as these are notoriously difficult to find for this range. The “Heirloom” pattern, with its distinctive geometric design, was produced by Hornsea until the late 1980s. Finding items from this range in excellent condition is becoming increasingly difficult, making this a desirable piece for collectors. The bottle has a classic shape with a pouring spout and a comfortable handle. The base is marked with the Hornsea Pottery maker’s stamp.
