This listing is for a beautiful pair of vintage Royal Crown Derby trinket or dresser dishes, each representing a suit from a deck of playing cards: the spade and the club. These charming dishes feature one of Royal Crown Derby’s most coveted patterns: the “Derby Posies.” This pattern showcases delicate hand-painted floral bunches in the centre of each dish, complemented by a distinctive rope-pattern embossed rim trimmed with gold gilding. Crafted from fine bone china, these dishes are perfect for storing small jewellery items, trinkets, or adding a touch of elegance to a dressing table, vanity, or bedside table. There are two further designs in this set to collect – diamond and heart.

Condition:
This pair of Royal Crown Derby trinket dishes is in very good vintage condition. The spade dish has a repaired chip on the underside, but this is not visible from the top of the dish and does not affect its display or use. Otherwise, both dishes are free from chips, cracks, or crazing. Please refer to the photos for a detailed view of the condition, particularly the repair on the spade dish.
