Dating from the late 1800s/early 1900s, this charming piece features a classic cylindrical form with a graceful tapering silhouette, standing on a circular collet foot. The ebonised handle adds a touch of contrast and comfort.
The pot’s silver plating exhibits a beautiful patina with some tarnish and areas of wear and plating loss, further enhancing its vintage appeal. Hallmark stamps on the bottom confirm its authenticity and indicate a capacity of 2 gills (approximately 1 pint or 473ml), perfect for intimate gatherings or a leisurely morning brew.
Measurements (approximate): stands 20cm/7 7/8 inches tall x 9.5cm/3.7 inches diameter (base).
