About the Piece:
An excellent quality, early 21st-century Ercol Windsor corner TV unit made from solid ash (very heavy!). The cabinet includes a storage drawer and an open shelf, as well as a versatile fold-down corner leaf so that it can be placed in a corner or against a wall. This corner leaf is held in place by a sliding supporting arm, which is located underneath the cabinet top. The drawer is fitted with the trademark stylish oval inset handles, and the unit features the familiar decorative rounded edges and dovetail joints. The Ercol badge can be seen on the stand.
This media stand has been finished with an ebony wood stain to give it a fresh, modern look, whilst still retaining its vintage charm. It has attractive wood graining throughout, which is still visible through the black finish and would be the perfect piece for any living room, office or bedroom.
This fabulous cabinet is part of the popular Windsor range, manufactured by Ercol in High Wycombe, England. The model number is 1130.
