This fabulously elegant mantle vase is a beautiful example of Arthur Wood pottery. This particular design, a slightly smaller version of their typical Neo-Classical style, was originally produced as decorative ware for the cruise ship SS Kenya in the 1950s. The vase features a distinctive ribbed body, loop handles, and a footed base. The ivory colour enhances its classic appeal. This large-sized vase makes a stylish statement in any interior, adding a touch of vintage glamour and historical interest. The base is stamped with the Arthur Wood maker’s mark and also has “Kenya Bowl S/S” impressed into the base, confirming its provenance.

Condition:
This Arthur Wood mantle vase is in lovely condition. There are no chips or cracks, and only very light crazing is present. Please refer to the photos for a detailed view of the condition.
