Antique Spode Copeland Thomas Goode Dinner Plate Green Garland 1891

This is a beautiful antique dinner plate made by Copeland Spode for the prestigious London retailer Thomas Goode. Dating back to approximately 1891, this plate is a stunning example of fine bone china craftsmanship. Thomas Goode is renowned as one of the most exclusive porcelain stores in Mayfair, London, and pieces bearing their name are highly sought after. This plate is hand-painted in the elegant “Green Garland” pattern, a design that remains in production today and retails at Thomas Goode for hundreds of pounds per plate. The design features delicate green garlands of laurel leaves and roundels, accented by 24k gold gilding, on a classic white bone china base. This plate was handcrafted in the Thomas Goode studio in Stoke-on-Trent. This historic service was originally designed for the Russian aristocracy. The simple yet elegant design would complement any traditional table setting.
