This is a wonderful antique Doulton & Co. Limited Lambeth pinched lip jug, dating back to circa 1870 or later. This piece is a fantastic example of Doulton Lambeth stoneware, showcasing a distinctive two-tone brown colour scheme. The jug is decorated with a moulded framing/hunting theme around the body, depicting scenes of figures and foliage. The pinched lip is a classic feature of these jugs, designed for easier pouring. The maker’s mark is impressed on the underside, confirming its Doulton Lambeth origin (used between 1858-1910). This beautiful piece would make a superb addition to any collection of antique stoneware or a striking decorative item in a period home.

Condition:

This antique Doulton Lambeth jug is in good used condition for its age. There is wear consistent with age and some small nibbles to the rim.
