Vintage Caithness Glass Paperweight Myriad 1970s Scottish Art Glass

This is a lovely vintage art glass paperweight from Caithness Glass, titled “Myriad.” Made at the Oban Studios during the 1970s, this piece features a relatively simple yet captivating design. An emerald green base provides a foundation for melted millefiori swirls that sweep upwards, culminating in a miniature whirlpool-like formation at the centre. Silvery air bubbles are trapped within the clear glass dome, adding depth and sparkle. The base has a faded Caithness sticker and the Caithness name etched into the glass. There is a small chip on the top of the dome, which blends in somewhat with the internal bubbles and is not very noticeable.

Condition:

This Caithness “Myriad” paperweight is in good vintage condition. There is a small chip on the top of the dome. This chip blends in with the internal bubbles and is not very noticeable. The Caithness sticker on the base is faded. Please refer to the photos for a detailed view of the condition.
