A charming pair of vintage cat figurines by Priory Castings, dating back to the 1960s. These delightful “Traditional Characters” capture the quintessential feline grace and make a wonderful addition to any collection or a sweet decorative touch for your home. This set includes one elegant long-haired Persian-style cat and one smooth-coated cat, both in seated poses.

Features: This delightful set features two distinct cat figures:

• Long-Haired Cat: A beautifully detailed representation of a Persian-style cat, showcasing intricate fur texture and a gentle expression.
• Smooth-Coated Cat: A sleek, well-modelled cat with a smooth finish, conveying a classic feline pose.
• Both figurines were produced by Priory Castings, renowned for their “Traditional Characters” range, and were made in England.
• They are unmounted, designed for easy display on shelves, mantels, or tables.
• Each cat retains its original maker’s sticker on the base, reading “Traditional Characters, Priory Castings, Made in England,” and features a brown felted base to protect surfaces.

Condition: Presented in good vintage condition, reflecting their age and history. There is light wear consistent with age and use, including some light surface scratches. The smooth-coated cat (left) has some very small chips to its paws. Please examine all photos carefully as they form an integral part of the description. The original stickers and felt bases are intact.
