Cabinet, Dressing Table, Stool

Claire reached out to us as she had wanted to commission a dressing table, stool and a storage cupboard for her bedroom.

CREATING THE DESIGN

Claire chose a dressing table, stool and storage cupboard that I had in stock in the workshop.

Having spoken to Claire as part of our initial consultation, I knew she wanted the furniture to be a dark blue to match the colour of their fitted wardrobes that were going to be installed. I created a mood board incorporating the various design elements we had discussed.

Claire also wanted to incorporate some fun and quirky knobs on the furniture which I was able to do by sourcing knobs with parrots, monkeys and cheetahs! This complemented the various animals shown in the Muck n Brass Chimiracle Pink wallpaper.

THE TRANSFORMATION

As part of my commission service, I kept in constant communication with Claire and sent her pictures of the progress so she could be part of the process and see the furniture come to life.

Claire was able to collect her furniture from our workshop in Littlehampton and it was so lovely to be able to meet her in person and get to see her first reaction to her furniture!
