Thrift Haul Part 2: More Vintage Treasures Unearthed!

Hello again, treasure hunters!

Welcome back for Part 2 of my epic charity shop haul. If you thought the first bag was impressive, hold onto your hats! This one is overflowing with even more vintage gems, from elegant teapots to charming kitchenware.

Let’s dive right in and see what treasures I unearthed this time…

A brass teapot with floral engravings sits atop three stacked books, titled "CALM and MINDFULNESS" and "COUNTRY LIVING." A white orchid and a sprig of small white flowers accompany them, creating a serene still life.

First up, a piece that’s perfect for afternoon tea:

Eastern Influences

A decorative urn with leaf and flower motifs sits on two stacked books titled "Calm and Mindfulness" and "Country Life." In the foreground, there are dried flowers. A blurred plant is in the background on the left.
A decorative brass vase with a floral design stands atop a blue book. Its base and rim are polished brass, while the middle features painted flowers. An orchid plant and a beaded necklace are partially visible to the left.

Next, I found two beautiful pieces with Eastern-inspired designs:

  • Brass Cloisonné Enamel Ginger Jar: This stunning jar features a vibrant floral pattern with green leaves on a cream base. It’s a beautiful example of cloisonné enamel work and adds a touch of exotic charm to any space. (Already sold on Etsy for £14.29)

A Sad Farewell

A white, scalloped ceramic bowl with delicate floral designs in blue, yellow, and red sits on a stack of hardcover books. The titles on the books are partially visible, and a small sprig of dried flowers rests in the foreground.

Unfortunately, not every find is a winner. I was heartbroken to discover that this beautiful trinket bowl got damaged after I made the video and had to be thrown out:
